The Kurinji Muthamizh Sangam & Academy proudly presents the Youth Tamil Excellence Award to recognize and celebrate exceptional youth who demonstrate a deep commitment to Tamil language, culture, and community engagement. Established in memory of Sibi Sivaram, a vibrant and compassionate young community member, this award honors his legacy of cultural pride, leadership, and inclusive spirit. This annual award is presented to youth (ages 13–19) who actively participate in Kurinji Muthamizh Sangam & Academy initiatives, showcase Tamil language proficiency and cultural involvement, and serve as positive role models within the community. Recipients are selected through a fair and transparent evaluation process and are honored at the Kurinji Annual Day event with a trophy and certificate. Through this award, the Kurinji Muthamizh Sangam & Academy reaffirms its commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders who will preserve, promote, and celebrate Tamil heritage.

Ms. Aditi Muthukumar
Kurinji Muthamizh Sangam & Academy is honored to present the Tamil Youth Excellence Award to Ms. Aditi Muthukumar in recognition of her exceptional contributions to community service and youth development. Ms. Aditi has demonstrated remarkable leadership through her dedicated participation in the Kurinji Youth Club, where she has served as a mentor to fellow students and actively volunteered in numerous initiatives aimed at nurturing the talents of younger children. Her commitment to education and peer empowerment is further exemplified by her initiative in founding a Science Olympiad club at her school, inspiring confidence and fostering a love of learning among her peers. Additionally, Ms. Aditi is the founder of ClearMind for Teens (clearmindforteens.com), a health education platform dedicated to providing valuable resources for teenagers, parents, and educators. This initiative focuses on raising awareness about the effects of cannabis, promoting risk reduction, and facilitating meaningful conversations around youth health and well-being. Through her unwavering dedication, leadership, and service, Ms. Aditi Muthukumar truly embodies the values and spirit of the Tamil Youth Excellence Award.
